Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha after breakfast for a drive toward the Great Rift Valley. Your first stop is Mto wa Mbu village, a lively multicultural town known for its rich blend of over 120 tribes. Here, you’ll take a guided village tour, visit a banana plantation, and enjoy a traditional Swahili lunch prepared with fresh local ingredients. This experience offers an authentic look into rural Tanzanian life, from farming to market life and local crafts.
In the afternoon, continue to Lake Manyara National Park for a scenic game drive. The park’s groundwater forest is home to monkeys, elephants, and elusive leopards, while the alkaline lake supports large flocks of flamingos and other waterbirds.
