Term and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Pangolin Travelers’ Expeditions (“we,” “our,” or “us”) and the client (“you” or “your”) booking a tour, trek, or any travel-related service with us. By booking with Pangolin Travelers’ Expeditions, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Reservations
All bookings must be made in writing (email or online booking form). A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Pangolin Travelers’ Expeditions.

1.2 Deposits
A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking. The balance is due at least 30 days before the tour start date. For bookings made less than 30 days before departure, full payment is required immediately.

1.3 Payment Methods
We accept payments via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or cash upon arrival (where applicable). Any bank or transfer charges are the responsibility of the client.

2. Cancellations and Refunds

2.1 Cancellation by Client
If you cancel your trip, the following cancellation fees apply:

  • More than 60 days before departure: Full refund minus bank charges.
  • 30–59 days before departure: 50% refund of the total cost.
  • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund.

Cancellations must be made in writing.

2.2 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest). In such cases, we will offer a full refund or a rescheduled tour.

3. Amendments

Changes requested after booking (such as travel dates, accommodations, or participant numbers) are subject to availability and may incur extra charges. Major changes requested within 30 days of departure may be treated as cancellations.

4. Travel Insurance

You are required to have comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, evacuation, theft, and personal liability. Proof of insurance may be requested before the trip begins.

5. Client Responsibility

You are responsible for:

  • Holding a valid passport and necessary visas.
  • Obtaining required vaccinations and medical certifications.
  • Respecting wildlife, local customs, and following your guide’s instructions.
  • Informing us in advance of any medical conditions or dietary restrictions.

6. Liability Disclaimer

Pangolin Travelers’ Expeditions is not liable for:

  • Injury, illness, damage, or loss during the trip.
  • Delays, cancellations, or force majeure events.
  • Extra expenses due to missed flights or personal negligence.

We act only as agents for accommodation, transport, and activity providers, and cannot be held responsible for their services.

7. Health and Fitness

Some itineraries require a reasonable level of physical fitness (especially treks and mountain climbs). It is your responsibility to ensure you are fit to participate. We reserve the right to deny participation if health or safety is a concern.

8. Wildlife and Nature Disclaimer

Wildlife sightings cannot be guaranteed. Although precautions are taken, travel in remote and wild areas involves inherent risks. You must follow your guide’s safety instructions at all times.

9. Photography and Testimonials

Unless otherwise stated in writing, Pangolin Travelers’ Expeditions reserves the right to use any photos, videos, or testimonials from your trip for promotional purposes (website, social media, brochures, etc.).
